湖北省造光绪元宝当十，直径：2.85cm；厚度：1.5 mm，重量：7.36 gram 克，光绪元宝湖北省造当十铸造于公元1902年（光绪二十八年）左右。湖北光绪元宝当十版别之分字体上有大北、小北之分。龙身麟甲有六路、七路、八路之别。龙身火珠有小火珠大火珠之分，大火珠又有火焰左飘和右飘之别。小火珠有包环无环之分。还有龙胸无云、瓜在须外、龙头无云、珠圈水龙、特大龙、珠圈旱龙、立龙、坐龙等版别。

此枚藏品正面圈内铸有铭文“光绪元宝”，珠圈外上环铸楷体“湖北省造”四字，底部铸货币价值：“当十”。元宝背面内圈铸有神龙腾飞图腾，外圈铸有英文，品相精致，其审美风格独特。钱币虽小，也可管窥当时社会文化一斑。
