南宋官窑青瓷葵花式洗实际是一个瓷妆奁盒，一向称为“洗”，全器六瓣葵花式，自壁至顶面皆曲突有致，顶面依瓣稜浮雕出凹弧壁深斜入中心的小圆底，有如一朵伸展的花朵。粉青的厚釉，色泽温润匀净，积釉处色碧，釉薄处略呈粉褐色；开片稀疏而长，色浅淡。壁墙落地为足圈，足缘呈暗褐色。

宋瓷的美学风格，近于沈静雅素一路，宋瓷所创造的新的美学境界，主要在于宋瓷不仅重视釉色之美，而且更追求釉的质地之美。南宋的官窑青瓷是玻璃釉，但它的配方已不再是稀淡的石灰釉而是粘稠的石灰碱釉，因而官窑青瓷经多次施釉，利用釉中微小气泡所造成的折光散射，形成凝重深沉的质感，使人感觉有观赏不尽的蕴蓄。唐人称赞越窑青瓷的如冰似玉，还只是修辞学上的比喻和理想，但是宋人烧造的青瓷却是巧夺天工的实际。宋瓷的这些作品都是中国陶瓷历史画廊中的杰作与瑰宝。

The Celadon of the Southern Song Dynasty is a glass glaze, but its formula is no longer Light Lime glaze, but viscous lime alkali glaze. Therefore, the Celadon of the Southern Song Dynasty has been glazed for many times, and the refraction scattering caused by the tiny bubbles in the glaze forms a dignified and deep texture, which makes people feel the endless implication of appreciation. In Tang Dynasty, Yue Kiln celadon was praised as ice and jade, which was only a rhetorical metaphor and ideal, but in Song Dynasty, the celadon was made by nature. These works of song porcelain are masterpieces and treasures in the gallery of Chinese ceramic history.
