刀币是我国古代特有的一种货币形式，流通于春秋战国时期，铸行于当时的齐、燕、赵、魏、中山等几个诸侯国。刀币是由生产或生活工具刀削演变发展而来的。在汉代史学家司马迁的《史记》中有这样的记载：“农工商交易之路通，而龟贝金钱刀布之币共焉。”刀币的主要品种有齐刀、尖首刀、针首刀、博山刀、燕明刀、赵刀、中山刀、截首刀等多种。

　　在春秋战国时期，地处海滨、富有鱼盐之利的齐国，以工商业的发达而见长，新旧贵族交替频繁，民众阶层不断壮大，商品交换以及流通极广，交易在当时成为民间日常生活中的大事。古籍《管子•乘马》中说，“无市则民乏矣”。伴随着经济往来的不断发展，齐国按照当地的风俗习惯铸行了一种形状像刀削（青铜刀）的青铜铸币，称之为“刀币”。繁荣的商业贸易促进了货币文化体系，整个春秋战国时期，齐国的货币以刀币做为流通的主要货币，成为刀币流通区的代表。齐国的刀币以厚重精美著称，钱币上的文字有：齐法化、齐之法化、节墨法化、节墨之法化、安阳之法化、齐建邦长法化等。除齐法化外，其余五种均少见，齐建邦长法化最为罕见，是中国古钱五十名珍之一。齐刀面文书体流畅华美，笔画如行云流水，转折有力。在各类刀币中首屈一指，令现在很多的钱币收藏家爱不释手。

英文翻译： Sword coin is a unique form of currency in ancient China. It circulated in the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, and was cast in several states such as Qi, Yan, Zhao, Wei and Zhongshan at that time. Knife coin is a tool of production or life cutting evolved and developed. In the Records of the Grand Historians written by Sima Qian, a historian of the Han Dynasty, there is such a record: "The trade between agriculture and industry was smooth, but the money of turtle shells, knives and cloth was common." Trading became an important event in the daily life of the people at that time. In an ancient book, Guan Ride a Horse, it is said, "Without a market, the people will be exhausted." With the continuous development of economic exchanges, the State of Qi made a bronze coin shaped like a knife cutting (bronze knife) according to local customs, which was called "daocoin". The prosperous commercial trade promoted the monetary culture system. Throughout the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, the currency of Qi took the knife coin as the main currency in circulation, which became the representative of the circulation area of the knife coin. The Dao Coin of the State of Qi is famous for its thick and exquisite characters. The characters on the coins are: Qi Fa, Qi Fa, Jie Mo Fa, Jie Mo Fa, Anyang Fa, Qi Jianbang Changfa, etc. In addition to the Qi Fa Hua, the other five are rare, the Qi Jian chief Fa Hua is the most rare, is one of the 50 treasures of ancient Chinese money. Qi Dao surface document is smooth and beautiful, the strokes are like flowing clouds and flowing water, and the turning point is powerful.
