清朝是中国金币铸造和发展的鼎盛时期，因地区不同，铸造工艺也不同，各地金币的器型各异，形式多样，名称也各不相同，深受收藏者的喜爱。由于金砖具有较高的保值作用，近年来价格猛涨。作为一种承载着悠久货币文化与历史的古钱币，金砖虽已退出商业舞台，但其如今的价值也不容忽视。由金匠手工铸造的金砖，使得每一件金砖都是独一无二的艺术作品，当今存在的古代金砖，非常稀有，而铭文金砖更是少见。古代金砖作为一种珍贵的收藏，目前受到各方面专家学者和收藏者的青睐。

"金砖"为正方体，正反各刻一幅大清天子像，上、下分铸有阴文"上上赤足"、"大清金库"字样，两侧有龙纹，重约495克。
