江南省造光绪元宝系指清代光绪二十三年至三十一年（1897到1905年）由南京造币厂铸造的“光绪元宝”系列铜币，系清代正式铸行的法定流通铜币。但铸行江南省造银币的清末，已无江南省建制。江南省设于清朝顺治二年（1645年），省府位于江宁（今南京）。

这枚甲辰江南省造光绪元宝每元当制钱十文铜币，铜币正面中央镌刻“光绪元宝”繁体大字，四字直读，中间嵌大清满文，外环珠圈，上环“江南省造”汉字，两边接左右分列的“甲辰”二字，下环“每元当制钱十文”繁体汉字，十三个字正好围成一圈；铜币背面雕刻顺时针云间飞舞蟠龙，外环珠圈，上环英文“KIANG-NAN”，下环“TEN CAS”，左边两组英文之间有一朵五瓣花。这枚江南省造光绪元宝整体保存完整，品相良好，包浆浓厚，具有年代感，值得珍藏。
