此次征集的孙小头开国纪念币上六星壹圆银币，尺寸规格为：重26.8g。直径3.9cm.大小规范，正反面纹饰都较为清晰，品相较好，具有一定的收藏价值。钱币正面中央为孙中山侧面肖像，边缘上镌中文隶书体“中华民国”、下镌“开国纪念币”、左右花枝饰之。由于钱币正面孙中山肖像的头像比袁世凯头像小，因而收藏界俗称“孙小头”。钱币背面中央为中文隶书体“壹圆”字样，麦穗在其底下饰之，边缘英文“中华民国”、“壹圆”，左右分列六角星，直线边齿，纤长细腻。整币铸造精良，包浆圆润，色泽明亮，设计别致，实属罕见，是钱币中的精品。
