曲须龙大清银币，珠圈外上端为满文，下缘为汉字“宣统三年”字样，左右两旁分列长枝菊花纹饰，线条流畅，脉络清晰，栩栩如生。钱币背面中间为刻有汉字“壹圆”，下缘为英文“壹圆”，神龙沿边缘自左向右腾云而起，环绕一周，七根尾须向上，龙头置上，两根短龙曲须，龙珠在“圆”字与英文之间，龙鳞有序，颗粒可见，龙纹细腻，龙眼凸起，炯炯有神，鼻梁俏上，威武霸气，彰显皇家威严。

“宣三”大清银币系列在制定之时包括伍角、贰角、壹角三种十进制银辅币，铭文分别注明二枚、五枚、十枚换一圆。背面图案为“立龙”，龙珠位于左上角而非中央或下方，此种设计在龙银中非常罕见。因新币发行的惯例是主币先行，故计划在新壹圆国币通行后再跟进，但辛亥革命的突然爆发使银辅币没有批量生产。在数量不多的银辅币中，以伍角、贰角、壹角最为稀少，从其雕刻风格来看，雕刻师应为曲须龙作者乔治，贰角及壹角龙面的雕刻者应为徐子贞。
