轰轰烈烈的清末农民起义——太平天国的历史，只存在了十多年，其钱币铸造、流通时间亦随之兴旺到消失。不过，一直以来，人们对于太平天国时期铸币的研究和探索却从未间断，以致备受后世泉家青睐。

太平天国钱币主要有金银铜铁锡铅币，其中是黄铜币为铸造流通的主体。探究钱币上铭文，正面通常有“太平天国”四字，这既是年号钱，又是国号钱；另一面大都为“圣宝”二字，但有直读、横读之分。而在太平天国起义早期所铸钱币铭文正面为直读“天国”，背面为横读“通宝”的，其存世量稀少。太平天国钱币有小平、当五、当十、当五十、当百及镇库大钱，花钱版别更为众多，但铸造质地优良且精致。

太平天国起义失败，所铸钱币遭到满清王朝严令收缴销毁，“藏匿者斩立决”，以致太平天国所铸之钱绝大部分被回炉，现今面市者已凤毛麟角。

如图所示这枚太平天国小平钱，为精黄铜质地，铭文：正面“太平天国”四字直读，背“圣宝”二字亦为直读，宽缘，应为当时“套子钱”之一。该钱字体笔画粗壮有力，且“国”字为四方形，“太”字稍大，“平”为“平点”，而不是“撇点”，可能是太平天国小平钱又一种版别。

太平天国起义距今只有一百多年，所铸钱币又被清政府销毁殆尽。如今能够收藏到一枚品相尚佳的太平天国钱币，也属不易，值得珍藏和探索。

Taiping Heavenly Kingdom coins include Xiaoping, Dangwu, Dangshi, Dang50, Dangbai, and Treasury, and there are more money-spending versions, but the casting texture is excellent and delicate.

The Taiping Heavenly Kingdom uprising failed, and the coins were severely ordered by the Manchu dynasty to be collected and destroyed. "The hiders decided", so that most of the money made by the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom was returned to the market.

As shown in the picture, this Taiping Heavenly Kingdom Xiaoping Qiang is made of fine brass. The inscription: "Taiping Heavenly Kingdom" on the front is read directly, and the word "Holy Treasure" is also read directly. One. This money font has strong and strong strokes, and the "national" character is square, the "tai" is slightly larger, and "ping" is "flat dot" instead of "skimming point", which may be another version of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom Xiaoping Qian.

The Taiping Heavenly Kingdom Uprising was only over a century ago, and the coins were completely destroyed by the Qing government. Today, it is not easy to collect a good-looking Taiping Heavenly Kingdom coin, which is worth collecting and exploring.
