刘虹(b.1956) 陕西人。1982年毕业于四川美术学院油画系。1986年毕业四川美院油画系研究生班，获硕士学位，留校任教。后调任川音的油画系系主任、教授。参加展览：1984年第六届“全国美展”，北京；1987年“中国油画艺术展”，美国；1994年“当代艺术联展”，德国；1997年“在社会与自我之间—中国当代女性艺术展”，美国；2002年“东+西”中国当代艺术展，维也纳；2003年，第三届“油画展”，北京；2004年“龙族之梦”中国当代艺术展，都柏林；2005年“观念艺术”中国当代绘画作品展，澳门。(图号：1599)

Liu Hong (b.1956) is a native of Shanxi Province. She graduated from Oil Painting Department of Sichuan Fine Arts Institute in 1982 and earned a master's degree from the Oil Painting Department of Sichuan Fine Arts Institute in 1986, and became a teacher there. She was also a professor in the Oil Painting Department of Chuanyin Fine Arts Institute.
