大清铜币（学名清代机制铜圆）是清政府试图将铸币权收归国有、加强控制而铸造的钱币。其铸造始于1900年（清光绪二十六年），止于1911年（宣统三年），流通时间较短。

大清铜币的钱背中央为蟠龙，上端是“光绪(或宣统)年造”，下端英文“Tai-Ching Ti-Kuo Copper Coin”字样(大清帝国铜币)。其版面设计优雅，雕刻精良，且存世量极为稀少，大清铜币光绪年户部造“当十”被誉为中国近代制币中的十大名誉品之一。

大清铜币在市场上流通的时间还是比较短的，在清朝的时候，大清铜币可以说是只存在了有10年左右，开始与光绪26年，结束于宣统三年，也就是说到清朝的灭亡。可见在这短短的十年间大清铜币作为主要的流通货币也是产生了重要影响的，是中国古代王朝留下的最后一个流通的货币了，所以收藏的意义更加的高。
