元永定正 MOTONAGA Sadamasa

元永定正(1922 - 2011年)是具体派第一代的代表成员之一，于1955年至1971年活跃于具体派的活动。受早期为报社杂志创作卡通和插画的工作影响，他于50年代开始尝试使用油画的载体，结合更象形及人物形象的形态进行艺术创作。同时他还创作艺术装置、雕塑和进行表演艺术。

元永定正于1966-67年访问美国纽约，这是奠定他艺术风格非常重要的时期。至此之后他更坚定了创作带有童趣幽默的作品，并出版儿童书籍，被广泛传阅，影响了许多少年儿童并获得很高的知名度，为现在十分流行的“超扁平”风格打下基础。

除了在日本，元永定正还在美国、意大利、韩国等地参加展览，包括纽约古根汉美术馆的具体派回顾展、威尼斯双年展、首尔国际版画展等等，深受老少喜爱，并被重要美术机构如美国纽约现代美术馆(MoMA)收藏。
