嘉宝艺术空间

任小林，1963年四月出生于北京，1970年开始学画，1982年入四川美术学院油画专业学习，1986年毕业后，被派至贵州师大艺术系任教；课余，仍创作不辍，影响所及，造成一片任小林现象，1990年与工笔画家杨艺结婚。这时期，任小林的创作语绘，加入了性的描绘，在理想而浪漫的情境中，他看到的是性之善，1991年到北京中央美术学院壁画系进修。

Ren Xiaolin (1963—)
Born in Beijing.Graduated from the Oil Painting Department of Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts in 1986. Entered in 1991 the Mural Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts for further studies. Now teaching at the Art Department of Guizhou Normal University.“The Colorful World” was shown at China Avant-garde Exhibition in 1989 and the Seventh National Art Exhibition, at which he was awarded the Bronze Prize.“Beyond the Garden” was shown at ’91 Annual Exhibition of Chinese Oil Paintings in Beijing and Hong Kong. In 1993, he held solo exhibitions at the Art Gallery of Beijing International Art Centre, the Gallery of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, and the Dragon Art Museum in Taiwan.
